So.
Dice couldn't resist it. The ultimate temptation that has plagued the gaming industry for a while now. They created a battle royal. Let's discuss firestorm.

What is Firestorm?
Firestorm is the name of Battlefield V's battle royal mode. 64 players drop into a massive map known as Halvøy, and fight to the death in teams of four person squads in Squad mode, or by themselves in Solo mode. It's like every other normal BR, where you drop into the map inside the Firestorm, which is the giant flaming wall of death that inspires legitimate fear and acts as the barrier to shrink down the field of play. In all aspects, it's every battle royal ever. Except, it's Battlefield.

What sets Firestorm apart?
Firestorm is set apart from all the others in terms of graphics, and play-style. Battlefield is known for it's insane engine, vehicle gameplay, unique gunplay, physics, and the "just in battlefield" moments. Sure we have the normal storm, normal looting, dropping in by yourself, etc. But, this is Battlefield. You have different rarities of guns, and all of them behave differently due to Battlefield's specialization trees. There's vehicles ranging from motorcycle half tracks to Panzer IV's. The map is huge, entirely destructible, and open for those just in battlefield moments that you wouldn't get anywhere else.

You tell me, what other battle Royale game lets you hitch an anti tank gun to a tractor and slam through barn doors while blowing up enemy infantry?
That's what makes this version of the wildly popular genre so interesting. It's more than just another battle Royale, it's a Battlefield Royale. ;)
All in all, I like the game mode more than fortnite. Take that how you will.
